Bandsaw guide
The CHACO anti-friction material consists of a high-quality synthetic material and is used worldwide in woodworking. It serves as a resistant pressure and guide element for band and circular saw blades.
We manufacture ready-to-install elements for saws of most manufacturers as well as special dimensions according to sketches. Fastening is done via threaded bushes, dovetail guides or screws in through holes.
The material convinces with very good abrasion resistance, low coefficient of friction, minimal heating of the saw blade, high temperature resistance as well as resistance to many liquids and ice.
In addition to machine-specific guides, we supply plates and rods as semi-finished products:
Solid plates: 365 x 200 x 24, 31, 35 or 42 mm,
tolerance +0.5/0
Profiled plates: 365 x 200 x 23.5 mm
Profiled rods: 290 x 39 x 17 mm and 365 x 40 to
80 x 23.5 mm
Other dimensions on request.
In mechanical engineering, CHACO anti-friction material is particularly suitable for demanding sliding movements, high surface pressures, insufficient lubrication and dry running.
