Set in a metal case, with a symmetrical suspension system, four Gatic screws with swivel, and an open-ended wrench.
With this design, the manhole covers are lifted straight upwards.

Two strands of the chain are shortened (marked in red). This allows the manhole cover to be lifted first on one side and then fully removed.
